This is a well-preserved Japanese farmer's house in the Misono Park that contains exhibits demonstrating the way of life of Japanese farmers in the Edo Period. This site gives insight into the way of life and worldview of a Japanese farmer during this period, during which the vast majority of the population were farmers.
