Established 10 years after the city of Hiroshima was destroyed by the atomic bomb, this museum stands in the Peace Memorial Park. It is dedicated to telling the facts of the bombing, and of Hiroshima before and after the bomb, with the aim of abolishing nuclear weapons worldwide.
